- Thank you for your inquiry about fractional laser treatments while breastfeeding. Unfortunately, there are no studies to prove safety of laser treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding.

- There are different types of keratosis of the skin. Keratosis pilaris is one type of keratosis which results in small, raised bumps due to buildup of the keratin protein within hair follicles – typically on arms and legs. We do have effective topical lotions that can help this condition.
- Yes, Botox can prevent the formation of some wrinkles. Many of our wrinkles are caused by repetative folding of the skin due to the activity of the underlying muscles of facial expression.
- Botox actually began as a medical treatment and not a cosmetic treatment and it continues to have many medical uses. Botox is a protein that causes relaxation of the muscle in which it is injected.
- The fine lines or “crows feet” that develop around the eye are actually lines etched in the skin due to repetative folding of the skin from the underlying action of the muscles that contract around the eyes when smiling.
